An additional cart will be charged to the utility account at $5.00 per month.  Any additional cart must be used for a minimum of six (6) months.  It is the responsibility of the resident to notify Madison County Sanitation Department of an address change.

• The County will only collect household garbage.

• All garbage must be bagged and in the container.

• The carts must be placed three (3) feet apart from each other and from any object such as telephone poles, mailboxes, utility poles, park cars, flowerbeds, etc.

• It is not the responsibility of the Sanitation Department to move carts that are improperly placed in order to complete a collection.

• Delivery of any additional cart will not be made without the signature of an authorized person(s) responsible for the charges applied to the utility bill.
