Thank you for the interest in the Madison County Shooting Sports Association (MCSSA).  We are located on Coleman Road in New Market, Alabama gate 4 of Sharon Johnston Park.  We are open to the public most weekends from 9 a.m. till 3 p.m.  Some exceptions to this are the weekends after Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years and when we are closed for maintenance.

MCSSA offers the following:

• A fifty yard outdoor pistol range.  The largest caliber handgun allowed on the pistol range is a 44 magnum.  The only rifles allowed are black powder, 22 cal. and 17HMR. You may provide your own targets or targets may be purchased at the club.  The club provided stands to put the targets on.  The cost for non-members to use the pistol range is $5.00 visit.

   

• Three skeet and trap fields are available.  The largest shot allowed on the fields is 7 1/2.  The cost for skeet or trap (25 shots) for non-members is $7.00 per round.

   

• For those who are interested the club does offer memberships.  The benefits of being a member are shooting at a reduced price and use of the facilities during weekdays.  You can obtain information and membership form at the range on weekends.

The club does not sell ammunition or rent firearms. All transactions at the range are done with cash or personal check, no credit or debit cards accepted.
