Location: Intersection of Old Railroad Bed Road and Toney Road

Project Description: This project consist of adding a left turn lane on the westbound approach of Toney Road and a right turn lane on the northbound approach of Old Railroad Bed Road. Mast arm signals will also be added as part of this project.

Need for Project: Old Railroad Bed Road and Toney Road is one of the highest crash intersections in unincorporated Madison County due to the intersection skew and high speeds. By adding turn lanes and a traffic signal, it will reduce crashes and help vehicles navigate the intersection safely.

Turn Lanes Construction Cost: $220,000
