Public Hearing-Madison County Commission Cable Franchise Renewals
Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held by the Madison County Commission at its regular meeting on October 23, 2024, beginning at 10:00 a.m., in the Madison County Commission Boardroom, located on the 3rd Floor of the Madison County Courthouse located at 100 Northside Square, Huntsville, AL 35801.
The Madison County Commission will use this hearing to assess the performance of Cable Companies that serve Madison County, Alabama including Comcast, Mediacom, WOW and DirecTV (video servicing) Internet, Cable and Phone, and the future cable needs and interest of the community. This hearing will assess cable companies’ performance in the following areas: reception quality, availability of service, quality of customer service, local community programming and other issues of public interest.
