The Madison County Extension System is part of a state wide continuing education network of the state's land grant universities, Alabama A&M University, Auburn University, the U.S. Department of Agriculture, and the county government.
The mission is to improve the quality of life by providing educational opportunities, which will enable individuals, youth, and families to make sound decisions, and to develop and strengthen the county's economy with emphasis on agriculture, home economics and related industries.
