Mission:
CASA’s mission is to provide volunteer services to assist with the unmet needs of aging and homebound (wheelchair or bedbound) individuals that allow them to remain in their homes and age in place.
Services:
Transportation to medical appointments, wheelchair ramp installation, handrail and grab bar installation, minor home repairs (yard work, painting), TEMP$ (Taking Energy Measures Personally=$avings) Weatherization, emergency weather assistance (heaters, fans, air conditioners), fresh vegetables from the CASA Community Garden, telephone reassurance and friendly visiting, Safety Net Health Care Services, information & referral, and delivery/shopping assistance.
Basic information:
CASA is a non-profit agency that provides direct services to individuals 60 and over and those wheelchair or bedbound in Madison County, Alabama. All services are provided at no cost to our clients. CASA receives no reimbursement from insurance agencies or government entitlement agencies for the services we offer to our clients.
