Madison County Commission continues steps to meet technology needs of citizens
Website now multi-lingual and all forms writeable pdfs
mcgov app now available for more mobile devices
Madison County’s website is now multi-lingual. At the upper right of web page, citizens can select from some 60+ languages. Web content will be translated into that language.
To reflect our diverse, inclusive community, Madison County strives to meet the needs of all citizens and our visitors.
This will assist the International Services Council of Alabama, Inc. and The North Alabama International Trade Association (NAITA).
Now, it’s much easier to download our mcgov app.
Just visit http://www.madisoncountyal.gov from your iPhone, iPad or android device.
Once connected, a pop up message gives you the option to install.
Even without downloading the app, madisoncountyal.gov when hit by any mobile device including blackberry, will automatically display in a simple, readable mobile version which also includes option to select language. (Ever try to read a website and the type’s too tiny?)
And, for the convenience of citizens, all forms are now available in writeable pdf. These forms can be filled out on your computer and then printed. Forms once completed can be saved into computer folders for future use. This is provided for citizen ease, more clearly legible forms and documentation.
With both the municipal and general elections coming this year, ‘one stop voter information’ is now available at http://www.madisoncountyal.gov/voter
Madison County has combined information from the Probate Judge, Board of Registrars, Circuit Court Clerk and municipal clerks responsible for city elections, at one web location.
Citizens can find deadlines, voter applications, polling place locations, and military and overseas voting information.
Voters can confirm if you are registered to vote and also simply by entering the address, find what elections/ districts you can vote in.
We welcome citizen input in this ever changing digital world.
Please let us know of suggestions.
